I saw an announcement of a season 4 renewal but I don’t have the details handy. (But a quick Google search fixed that.)
Also, it was picked up by Peacock for season 3 after NBC canceled it, not Hulu, and it appears they will carry season 4 as well.

Still better than dubbing.
I always turn the dubbing off. Personally I can’t stand it.
Eeesh.
Anyone else love High Maintenance on HBO?
Probably my favorite show that I watched during covid.
For those that don’t know, it follows a bike riding weed dealer doing his deliveries in NYC. He is the only character that is in every episode. The casting and acting is A+. It’s amazing how well they can introduce new characters and give them depth and nuance so quickly. The episode that is told through the dog’s perspective is so good(well, all of them are).
I’m watching WandaVision. I’m really happy that a show like this gets green lit in today’s world. Episodes 1-3: A+. Episodes 4-7: solid B+. Will likely finish tonight.
Did we ever figure out wtf is with the credits? 6-7 minutes on the end of each episode is certainly intentional and weird. Theory 1: it gives the show a high-budget “movie” feel. Theory 2: it deliberately slows you down and impedes binging the next episode. You’re supposed to stop for a couple minutes and think about things.
Disney+ has like 5 minutes of foreign voice credits at the end of absolutely everything.
Ah gotcha. This is the first show I’ve watched on there other than kids movies.
apparently HBO has a Q Anon documentary coming on March 21
That’s what they want you to think.
Episode 8 is the high point of the series. Just absolute brilliance all around. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Ooof, 8 was the only one I didn’t like! The problem is probably me. I don’t watch shows where kids get hurt, so it was tough going. Kids in warzones almost made my wife turn it off.
Murder Among the Mormons is a pretty good true crime doc on Netflix
I’ve also been watching The Sopranos. Up to Season 4. Some very good eps, but a little more uneven than what I’ve come to expect from top tier TV. But I guess it should get some leniency for being a pioneer.
They I good by not stretching it out. 3 episodes was just long enough
I’m way behind the times, but I’m finally watching Narcos, and it’s heavy shit, man. I can really only watch an episode or two per day because I wonder about my soul when i find myself sympathizing with Pablo fucking Escobar.
I know it’s “fictionalized” but I actually remember some of the stuff happening.
I also play poker with the DEA agent that arrested Noriega (he actually suggested the show when it came out), so this was me when they showed that little blip of footage in episode 5:
Narcos is great, all of the seasons and the mexico ones as well
Ok Cobra Kai is kind of awesome two episodes in. I don’t even care at all about punching and kicking shows normally but still enjoying it.
Finished Avengers Endgame. They were entertaining movies, some better than others. I’m glad to be caught up but doubt I’ll ever re-watch any of them.
Just watched this and I was thoroughly entertained. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
