Sometimes people just need feel-good stuff that makes them happy, you know? Not everything has to be edgy all the time.
Chill. I know what I like is often not what other people like. But what makes me happy tends to be stuff I really find funny. Heartwarming stuff I often find forced or only works if you care about the characters, which I had a hard time doing when I tried Schittâs Creek the first time. Reference the second article in my latest Ted Lasso post if you want a longer, more detailed explanation.
(But also, This Is Us looks pretty bad to me every time I see any of it. They should call it Dyinâ and Cryinâ because thatâs all that seems to happen.)
Has anyone watched Behind Her Eyes on netflix? I just finished it and curious to hear anyones thoughts.
Thereâs a ton of big budget movies that arenât superhero related but they might as well be. The fast/furious, mission impossible, John Wick franchises do really well and their main characters are basically superheroes.
I watched Ted Lasso this week, very easy watch. Wish they could have made the in game scenes look half as good as the training ones though.
OK Antman was fine but Antman and Wasp sucked. Like worse than Edward Norton Hulk bad. Iâm looking forward to getting to the end of the Avengers saga.
Schittâs Creek is GOAT. WTF at some not liking it. Itâs schadenfreude of wealthy people suddenly being dirt broke.
Yeah, lol, I definitely felt that and with how little they actually showed in-game action. Hopefully its critical success will lead to a bigger budget for better in-game scenes.
Then why does everyone who praises it do so for how heartwarming it is?

The Katie Holmes day episode of A.P bio is my favorite episode of a comedy since the trolley problem episode of The Good Place.
Because they learn empathy and sympathy for others as the series progresses.
FWIW as the primary offender I donât think itâs necessary. I may not ever post about them again once we finish watching them all. I think weâve just got two left, Infinity War and Endgame.
My wife and I didnât make it through the first episode of Tell Me Your Secrets last night. We are definitely way too hard on first episodes.
This is a pretty reasonable attitude given the volume of good TV being produced these days. No need to stick with something that doesnât get you interested right away.
Update: I almost never binge TV, but I got through Alice in Borderland in like 3 days. Have a bad feeling this is going to turn into a Lost fiasco, but Iâm hyped for S2.
I donât hate that I stuck with it. But as posted above I do not recommend and will not do S2.
I was thinking ahead to the five MCU TV series expected to be released this year.
See, is it good because it makes fun of rich people whoâve lost everything, or is it good because the rich people learn to be basically decent? Those are two different premises. I donât find the latter particularly heartwarming, and the former, what I watched wasnât funny enough for me on that level to keep going with it.
Is ap bio still having new episodes ?
They got canceled then Hulu (actually peacock*) picked it up. Showcase grabbed it in Canada as well.
