Jesus, September 4th is THE day for streaming huh? The new Charlie Kaufman and the Boys S2. Nice
ok fuckers, im watching Iāll Be Gone in the Dark now.
Atta boy
i know the story very well from Casefile podcast, they did a 4-5 part series on the case, very detailed. Hoping this sheds more on them catching him.
Honestly, the story is more about Michelle McNamara, citizen sleuthing, the rise of true crime, and the EARās victims than it is about the actual capture of him. Of the six episodes, only the last one really focuses on his arrest and aftermath.
On ep 1
You didnāt tell me this was a crying movie
the point is to make it the same as or slightly less than an actual movie ticket. $30? LMAO eat shit, Disney.
In other āfuck now Iām hypedā news:
This better be good. please be good
$30 on top of a subscription is bad. $30 without a subscription isnāt terrible if you watch it with your family. I paid $20 for a movie during the pandemic because it was still cheaper for just two of us than going to the movies. I donāt plan on doing it any more - I can wait a month or two to at least rent it for $6 if itās something I really want to see.
uh well to their credit its not out on the t*rrent sites yet so GJGE?
The first episode of the animated comedy Star Trek Lower Decks is out. Itās kind of like Star Trek meets Futurama, despite it being pitched as Star Trek meets Rick and Morty (which I have never seen).
I found it to be a fun little outing with a likable core of characters. I think the premise has a lot of promise, but I suspect that, like other Star Trek series, itās going to take a while for it to find its footing.
Snap bought a month of disney plus just to watch Hamilton (and well spent). But lol at asking money on top of subscription.
The Orville is great if you want a Star Trek-based comedy.
I been watching a lot of BBC cozy murder mysteries just to de-stress. Not even the good ones, Iām watching Brother Cadfael up in this bitch.
Late to the game but I liked Easy. Itās funny because the dramatic moments come from people talking through their issues instead of some great hidden betrayal or anything. I did like the format of having 75% bottle episodes and 25% long arc stories with people popping up in other peopleās episodes in a āoh look itās that personā kind of way.
Last Chance U was good this season, in a different kind of way. It wasnāt look at these hot shots crushing some junior college kids as they try to make it back to Division 1. It was more about the kids and their lives trying to make it through life.
I have PTSD from my kid watching Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn on Nick, which means I can never watch this.
lol - my daughter walked in when my wife and I were watching and told me that kid was on that Nick show. Heās REALLY good in Umbrella Academy. Heās my second-favorite actor/character on the show. He plays a 58-year old in a 13-year oldās body.
Lol at voluntarily watching that trash again, just watch season 1-4 and pretend the show ended
Love on the Spectrum. I liked it. Dating reality shows are usually pretty sleazy with hyping up the sex or the wild personalities so this was quite touching that it was something so mundane. It did treat its cast with respect. Too bad it was only 5 episodes because my wife and I were enjoying it.
I loved this. Made me laugh and cry and remember my humanity. Plus their tips are good for neurotypical people too! I was taking notes.
Iāll take that as a maybe.
