Hah I did not notice that. Really cool to see some of those HP actors grow from terrific child actors into terrific adult actors. You never know if they’ll be like Ron and instead buy an ice cream truck to drive around the neighborhood and give away free goodies.
HBO Max might be prepping for a Crisis on Infinite Earths to rival the CW
Unsolved mysteries #6, missing witness:
kinda annoying episode, pretty clear that the mom murdered both the dude and her daughter or was involved in the murder with Kris. I get that they have these episodes to hopefully get more information so hopefully something comes of it. Honestly I feel like the mom should have at least gone to trial for the murder of Gary, they don’t go into whether the house was searched but surely it should have been searched and checked for blood and such and i get it, no body, but man the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. I’m sorry but people don’t just go missing and then your boyfriend you were cheating on the missing husband with, shows up and moves in 2 days later. GMAFB. Scary that you can just murder folks and as long as no body ever is found and you clean up real well, you’re golden.
edit: also watched ep 5 the Alien one, no comment
watching 4 now
Just watched ep1. Very good.
let me know your thoughts, i posted above about it
Oof. I hated the first episode. This seems like transparent manipulation of a family that cannot come to terms with a lost loved one and the fabrication of a controversy where there really isn’t one. All of the “but what if…” logic in support of murder is roughly equivalent to a QAnon conspiracy theorist “logic”.
I feel the same. The workplace has obviously issued a gag order to prevent any type of liability that may have come from the phone conversation. Aside from that it seems pretty clear he walked out to the ledge of a building he was familiar with from working so close to it and jumped off the ledge to his death.
Or he didn’t, but none of the “controversial” issues are even remotely strong enough to point to some kind of cover up.
yea agreed there completely, dude likely had some sort of mental issues. I read up on it a bit afterwards and apparently the wife said the guy was acting super paranoid for a week or so before that, and named a bunch of different things about it but that didn’t really get into the episode. Seems like he just had some sort of psychotic break and she really didn’t want to think he did it. There was talk about how the ME noted it as undetermined, like thats nothing.
I agree with you. I guess I’m a bit jaded in that when I see these documentaries now, I begin thinking about what narrative the producers are likely to craft out of the original incident.
Maybe I missed it but no hype on Hamilton streaming tomorrow for first time ever? I am so excited.
Yeah wife and I are gonna buy a month of D+ for it. Never seen it in any format so I’m pretty excited
Me either. I came very close to spending like $1,000 on a ticket last year not to mention the trip to New York. I am pretty excited to see it finally.
I was interested but I am kind of done with subscription services. I pay for Netflix and HBO and that’s it.
If you havent done D+ yet they are doing 1 week free. Sign up, cancel, watch Hamilton
I think they stopped that actually. Have to pay now. It’s only $7 though.
I’m excited to watch everyone watch/react to Hamilton. I’ve seen it, and it’s one of the few things i’ve ever experienced that actually lived up to and even surpassed the hype.
So many people know the music so well already, which is odd to me. I’m a musical theatre nerd, and for something to go this mainstream when the vast majority of people have never even seen the show is unprecedented. I mean, yeah, everyone’s heard one or two songs from other shows, but this is the first one that people got into the entire soundtrack in a big way.
I’ve spent years avoiding spoilers or hearing the music as much as possible. It’s been actual work but put I’m going in near spoiler free. I can’t wait.
I’m a huge broadway nerd. I’ve seen so many musicals.
I did the same thing before I saw it. Refused to listen to the album, didn’t read anything about it, etc.
It is definitely different than anything you’ve seen before, but if it makes musical theatre more accessible for more people, then I’m all for it.
