Thomas is legit awful and never should have been confirmed and is a good reason to hate Biden if you need one.
I have special dislike for Thomas on patent law. He often gets assigned the SCTs patent law opinions, which are usually 9-0, and invariably screws things up in one way another, often by failing to fully understand the context in which he applies his BS legal analysis. I think he considers himself something of a patent law expert but he’s just faking it.
Ya, this decision just defines the contours of acceptable cheating. Just like you can remove all minorities from a jury but have to make up a race-neutral excuse if called on it.
There was some gerrymandering one about black voters being disenfranchised (I could be remembering wrong) where it was Thomas plus 4 libs. He even asked questions on that one!
Here’s the case:
Apparently, according to the article, Thomas has historically been super consistent on this issue, so his vote should not have been a surprise.
Descovy for prep ads still WOAT, this ruling does not change that
The head of the Federalist Society cares. That’s a powerful person.
Thomas is worse than Alito, just so we are all crystal clear. Alito is just a partisan hack, while Thomas is truly insane. Also his wife does tons of sketchy shit that’s clearly a conflict of interest.
I was going to say that Alito was worse than Thomas only because Alito was like 10 years younger. Then I actually checked and saw that Thomas is less than 2 years older.
Fuck, that asshole has been on the court FOREVER.
Thanks Joe Biden
When I mentioned Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh and Gorsuch I didn’t rank them on good to bad, just that Alito and Kavanaugh are the most partisan.

Should note the primary “right winger” was a Democrat
5-4 with Roberts.
Gorsuch unsurprisingly rejoins the party of hatred and exclusion.
But a win is a win.
Wow these wins are so unexpected.
What’s left for this term? Trump taxes I know. Is there an ACA case? Or is that more likely in the fall?
Trump taxes, abortion, whether POTUS should be able to fire the CFPB director, faithless electors, probably a few other that I’m forgetting plus a bunch of cases nobody gives a shit about.
