The Supreme Court: RIP Literally Everything

How would the blue states prevent being starved by the red states? Who has the important natural resources? Blue states might end up with a 2nd Russia next door.

Hard to predict the future but most people in red states have no beef being poor so long as they can point the finger at somebody other than themselves for their situation. I’m sure their mental gymnastics will allow them to blame liberals for leaving them or some shit like that.

Doesn’t really matter what they think. The white people in power will decide who is white enough to avoid the consequences of apartheid policies.

If you believe the conservative majority plays Calvinball, then codifying Roe is meaningless because the Court will overturn that and packing the court won’t work because SCOTUS will find a way to rule against that, so the only way to meaningfully change things involves changing the composition of a Supreme Court that is fixed at nine members.

As always don’t expect intellectual consistency, they do want more white people but really they just want to punish and abuse poor minorities.

The Republicans have figured this out - just let some of the Latinos peel themselves off from the group, call themselves white, and embrace white supremacy. The Rs are winning the political war among the “Latino” demographic using simple divide and conquer strategies. The Dems will, like, eat a taco on May 5 and not understand why they aren’t killing the Latino vote.

This is what’s gonna finally stop all the school shootings. No longer need a middleman to deliver the thoughts and prayers, can do them right at the source!

This reasoning is absolute dogshit

With prayer in school we don’t even need to worry about school shootings because then we will know the dead kids go to heaven.

Instead of Lemon, the court says, the Supreme Court “has instructed that the Establishment Clause must be interpreted by ‘reference to historical practices and understandings.’”

This is the ultimate Calvinball justification that they keep using over and over again. History as taught to us from Dinesh D’Souza and My Pillow Guy “documentaries”.

These people on scotusblog who keep saying shit like “INTERESTING LINEUP” for stuff like this First Step Act decision that just got dropped irrationally tilt the ever-living fuck out of me.

This isnt the same level of absurd as the Roe decision, but holy shit is this an absolutely absurd decision.

I’m leaving my trust on this one to the satanic temple to start marching out baphomet before high school football games to show the absurdity of this ruling.

You don’t get mad at the rabid dog for escaping from his yard and attacking someone. You get mad at the owner who knew for a decade the fence was faulty but refused to do anything to shore it up or fix it.
