The Supreme Court: RIP Literally Everything

It’s basically the same as doxxing, but I’d argue doxxing is okay in some circumstances.

I understand the sentiment and we see it around here a lot. I just think that the whole “trifecta” is overly reductive and doesn’t capture reality. The senate is 50-50 with Manchin and Sinema, and those two kill just about everything except judges. So while Dems do technically control congress, it’s real shitty control.

Unfortunately the messaging like, “Hey we could actually get stuff done if we had even more control” isn’t going to be particularly persuasive. Hence, the forthcoming bloodbath.

US a bigger theocracy than Poland. cool.

A conservative justice dying is probably the only realistic way to stop this.

Lol @ Breyer for writing a book defending this fucking institution.

This is what I’m worried about. Even if you like what a party represents, it’s hard to keep supporting it if it never achieves any of the things it’s supposedly working towards. But, if you get a few wins, you walk with your head held a little higher and maybe you get fired up thinking about all the other things you can accomplish with just a little more power. Especially if the GOP party line becomes, “well, this just means it’s up to the states, so you really need to show up for those state level races so that we can really bring it home.”

Yeah, this.

Yep. I’m all for it. China, if you’re listening…

Remember when access to abortion was the defining policy of the Democratic Party.

Now we will be super lucky if POTUS even makes a strongly worded comment.

Lol America.

Conservatives are not going to be satisfied with leaving it up to states. The religious crazies think aborting a fucking zygote is murder. They are going to push for a federal ban, and you’d better believe if they get it that the Supreme Court is all of a sudden going to forget states rights exist.

Well post-2024 a federal ban has to be a heavy favourite.

A right having to be “rooted in history” is both hilarious and infuriating.

Access to abortion should have never been the defining policy of the Democratic Party.

It’s very Nazi versus Institut für Sexualwissenschaft

Why is gay marriage more significant than abortion?

Why, how would that work differently regarding reaction than abortion

Than abortion? I don’t think so

The GOPa entire platform is 100% policies not supported by a plurality of Americans.
