The Supreme Court: RIP Literally Everything

How broken does your brain have to be.

It’s purely instinctive. Dems do X implies X is An Outrage And The Worst Thing Ever. It’s just a feature of partisan politics combined with social media dopamine, always escalating the anger and outrage for greater and greater rage highs until your brain is completely wired not just to want it, but to need it.

Solid trolling rolling with “read the opinion” while using the shadow docket to ruin the country

“Read the opinion.”

I agree with her, it’s just that their judicial philosophy that influences their determination of what the law and the Constitution requires seems to highly correlate with Republican desired policy results.

Don’t forget the inherent racism baked in, her choice of words was calculated.

I’ve always seen states rights as something conservatives at the federal level fall back on when they want to legislate something they know is clearly bad, but don’t want the clap back. Thus, they just say it’s something that should be up to the states.

Has Thomas been seen or heard from since he was released from the hospital?

Yes, he took a very non-political meeting with Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker. They stood together for a photo op to demonstrate the Supreme Court’s political independence.

Normie democrats have no idea what’s about to happen

Yeah. Can’t fake racism to get out of jury duty anymore.

I don’t think normie democrats appreciate that in about two months, Roe is getting nuked and red states already have legislation at the state level ready to go

Told my normie Dem friend two years ago they were going to ban abortion and gay marriage, he laughed at me. Now he still thinks I’m crazy to think they’ll come for gay marriage.

They’re frogs in boiling water.

The most tilting part of the coming gay marriage rollback is that the moderate conservative position will be, “This actually isn’t about gay marriage. We support gay marriage. This is about a wrongly decided case, and stopping judicial overreach. It’s on Congress to pass a law protecting gay marriage.”

Then they’ll 100% line up to vote for candidates who oppose gay marriage because of whatever dumb culture war issue Fox News is talking about in year 202x.

It’s always about “states’ rights”. When they taught us about the civil war they were always harping on that, not about the fact that it was about 1 particular state right that they really, really wanted. This is just the logical continuation of those arguments.

It’s effectively dead right now.

They don’t want to officially overturn it because of single issue voters, just keep letting the base see progress and get closer and closer to it without actually getting it. Base stays motivated to support Republicans as a result. Republicans just want to be able to grab more power and have Dems have less, that’s what they’re building toward.
