The Supreme Court: RIP Literally Everything

How did Thomas rule in Clinton v. Jones anyone recall?

ya he cites it in a footnote

It was 9-0 against Clinton.

relating to above and this, what does this mean? like he lost the case, how does he get to try other arguments? What the fuck system is this?

Mazars 7-2 as well

Trump is going to lose his shit that both the justices he appointed went against him, but will probably just take it out on Roberts since he wrote both

He lost 7-2

That was rhetorical we all know how that assclown of a worthless joke of a justice ruled in that case.

And there it is. Trump loses the Vance case, but he gets to fight on other issues and it gets sent back to the lower court, where it will take months to play out and nothing is going to happen before the election.

“This is a legal defeat for the president, but it may be a practical victory,” says Jeffrey Toobin.

Same logic applies to the Mazars case, too. Punt to after the election.

Sorry non lawbros, but almost always shit doesn’t happen right away when SCOTUS rules, things get remanded and litigated further.

Law gonna law. He won by losing.

Sorry lawbros, but the Democrats didn’t force the issue into the courts as quickly as possible, the courts didn’t weigh the importance of the American people learning of the outcome of these investigations before the election, and thus the entire system is failing the electorate and protecting the president.

But, hey, we’ll probably get to see some of this stuff in mid-2021, which it is completely fucking irrelevant to our political landscape. Yay!

This is like when the Supreme Court “remanded” the 2000 recount back to the Florida Supreme Court knowing they had no time to actually do the recount in the allotted time.

Perhaps PAULA JONES should have asked for the tax returns

FYI Congress’s subpoena power was just affirmed and corporate Democrat Jerry Nadler still sitting on his hands and refusing to issue subpoenas
