Can’t the dems just invoke the 2 hour rule every day to drag this thing out? I’m sure at some point the Rs will just say “fuck it” and move to a vote, but they might as well try and see if it can buy them a few days maybe and just continue to run the clock.

Have popped in for a few mins here and there. Dems seem to be doing the right things in opening statements. Essentially ignoring Barrett. Healthcare, healthcare, healthcare. A small smattering of illegitimate, hypocritical process.

Why do any of us have to watch this? What’s the point of it? Seems like they should skip this entirely and let her make her opening statement and go from there. What is accomplished by letting all the Senators babble for 20 minutes each?
