I wouldn’t be surprised if a few did collapse. It’s too far out to predict, imo. My claim is that global warming will not lead to the extinction of humanity. If it does it will be from follow-on effects, such as general strife and territorial conflict leading to nuclear war or increased pandemics due to dislocated people living in unsanitary conditions.

There are really very few things that could lead to the complete extinction of humanity all of them very unlikely. Global warming is not one of them.
