It’s official. Hakuho held a press conference yesterday announcing his retirement. He’s going to launch an international Sumo Grand Slam amateur competition. So get eating and practicing your foot stomps!

These dudes could make a fortune selling diet pills in the US.
I honestly think he just stopped eating like a sumo wrestler and began eating like a normal human being for the first time in his life.
And I mean that literally. His dad was the Earl Woods of sumo and he’s been training/eating like a sumo wrestler since he was a toddler.
Maybe not drinking a gallon of beer a day helps with the weight loss.
Aonishiki “The Ukrainian Freight Train” might just be the next big think in sumo. Steamrolling the Hoshoryu like he was nothing to score the quickest kinboshi ever on record. Only 23 and two years into sumo. Japanese is lit too.
