Now that the election is out of the way, time to focus on the more important stuff, like sumo.
Kyushu basho is here. Terunofuji is kyujo. Takakeisho is retired. Start of the Onosho era? How many katasukashi moves will Midorifuji unleash this basho? Could THIS be the basho that Takayasu finally gets it done?
Let the sumo games begin!

my son (20 yo) described Tamawashi (who is almost exactly 9 years younger than me) as âdecrepitâ
Thatâs an odd description given that he just turned 40, just earned a kachikoshi, and still has a better build than many of his fellow rikishi 10+ years younger than him.
I am 95% sure he was just trying to needle me specifically

Hoshoryu looks unstoppable, but I want to see Kotozakura take the yusho down.
