yeah. we got it good here in the KC area, too. been having to work far more hours than usual and on our off days.
had the obligatory weirdo today. she was holding her ear against one wall, and then against the ceramic tile floor in a bathroom and telling me she hears consistent dripping, even though there’s no splotch below. half the city needs a plumber, and this bozo is right in the middle of it with her plumbing ‘issue.’ her license plate said DVA1 or something close, and a bumper sticker said something like "no time for basic’ os
Is there anything about your job situation that prevents you from just independent contracting on your own time and taking side jobs. Would you do better that way than working overtime at your job?

flirted with the idea a couple of times, but I like my situation. only work 32 hours in a normal week, and not all the responsibility lol

fell off and gained a few pounds back, and didn’t achieve my short-term goal to end 2020 or whatever it was.
going to target the gym at non-peak hours, when the 'rona will be least agitated.

Mom came over today and helped me clean the old place lol for a couple hours. she was humming something, and I asked what it was, she said bee gees. so we listened to this, and it fit perfectly for a 2 hour cleaning sesh!

Did a job for these 2 fantastic Nigerian women earlier, Uche and Grace. You know how you just vibe with certain people sometimes? Anyway, I gave them the price, and Uche said, “That’s too tall for me, I’m short. I’m shorter.” lol I said, “OK, Shorty.”
I agreed to their price, and she prepared tea for me - brought it up on a tray, with a sugar bowl and those little creamers
