Right, itâs infuriating to see the media keep replaying that clip from last month where he said it was highly unlikely that the Taliban would immediately take over the whole country. As if he was stupid or uninformed. He was still right!

At the time of the statement, total collapse of the Afghan forces and Taliban sweeping into Kabul with essentially no resistance was on the âhighly unlikelyâ end of the spectrum.
I donât know, maybe he was lying about the intelligence, but treating it like a prediction and dinging him for being wrong is results-based thinking.
Well sometimes intelligence is just bad/wrong or not read properly. German intelligence didnt see the whole strength of soviet forces massed behind the Wolga before the encirclement of Stalingrad. Meanwhile the French brushed off reports that there is a long line of lights moving through the Ardennes forests.

No way 80% of americans received $1400 checks or cash payments from the third stimulus. I seriously doubt 80% of Americans over the age 18 received checks.
