I guess my understanding of āreboundā was different. I thought it denoted a rebound of symptoms. I didnāt think anyone really used the term this way. But I guess in this case it is applicable. If he was testing negative on antigent tests for a few days and then positive again, then I guess thatās a rebound of sorts.
Iām sure he would have been testing positive on PCR the whole time, though.
Itās also likely that the positive test will precede the onset of symptoms, so maybe he will meet the conventional definition of rebound(i.e. symptoms again) in short order.
