Lobbyists can easily make a $1mm+. Even if she would be the worst lobbyist ever going forward, there are dozens of corporate dickwads that would be happy to kickback a couple hundred K each to her via retainers/board positions/etc for the billions she is saving their companies now. It wouldnāt even be gratitutuous, easily worth it to show Senators/Reps still in office the rewards of playing ball.

If our elites had a single shred of fear about their situation in life Trump would have already been publicly executed. I realize that public executions are ābarbaricā or whatever, but Iām starting to realize that the assassinations and political violence were a feature that kept past empires viable rather than a bug. A little bit of fear is like a little bit of inflationā¦ it stops leaders from running the prevent defense every single play.
