- Potential items that were being discussed also include fully refundable credit (so you don’t need the tax liability) as well as payable as a rebate directly upon purchase of the vehicle.
Payable as a rebate seems like it would be huge to if that stays in.
i owned a 2008 civic si once. i was hoping i could wait for ev or at least convert it to electric eventually, but ended up with another new car in 2016. it’s almost 2022, still nothing worth buying.
Selfishly I am very happy this made the cut so far and would be thrilled if it gets passed. Taking delivery of an EV in Feb and it would be the first time the Dems actually put a significant chunck of money in my hands. Although I still think putting the money toward charging infrastructure would be a better use.
