Biden is giving a pretty good press conference right now. He said he’s not signing the bipartisan bill until the reconciliation bill passes (which doesn’t matter because the bipartisan bill is never passing, but it’s a positive step re: his mindset).

Smart move though. Puts the pressure on manchin and cinema.

Problem is they won’t have this stuff in this bill in the reconciliation bill, then this bill won’t pass. So I hope they cover a their bases. Manchin etc might say no to a lot of stuff because it’s already in the bi partisan bill. Then that won’t pass.

It drives me nuts that 100% of the press refuses to live in reality. The coverage of this is uniformly “bipartisan infrastructure a done deal.” Hey assholes, maybe inform your viewers there is no chance it actually passes and is signed into law? Not everyone is stupid enough to follow as closely as this forum.
