Many congressional districts, even in red states, will have counties that are more liberal. And Colorado isn’t even a red state.

In Lauren Boeberts case, it’s actually miraculous she won. A high school dropout gun nut with multiple arrests beats an incumbent gop guy in a district that includes aspen and other snobby Colorado suburbs. I would be surprised if she can hold that district from the many highly educated technocratic ski resort coloradians who live there. And she serves no role in non gun related debates.

I think this is correct. There are plenty of ambitious establishment GOP types in that district that would love to get that seat, and she has some fans but I don’t see any indication that support for her is particularly strong (people who “like” her would like any GOP replacement). and that’s just on the primary side. she’s definitely vulnerable.
