Nope. Just not true.
They have already passed laws in several states allowing the killing of protesters. Itâs a lock we see it happen the next large scale protest.
Now as to your other point it probably wonât matter. We will get some sick twitch streams of cops mowing down protesters with their cars and then the Dems will be âconcernedâ and a few weeks later everyone will forget.
Those places are almost all open carry states. Libs need to start walking around with AR15s and just unload into a car that trys to ram into them.

I agree this would be the easiest âquick fixâ thatâs actually achievable, but the thing about it that affects Democratic and GOP reps equally is that it reduces their power, therefore lolol at any of them ever voting to do it.
The country getting more liberal while governing institutions get more right wing is why many of us on here expect increased social instability going forward.

Like, at some point theyâre just going to fucking do it. The Supreme Court swing vote is Neil Gorsuch.
The right has demonstrated their willingness to resort to violence. The left has demonstrated their willingness to peacefully assemble. The only lesson learned from the dress rehearsal on 1/6 is that a coup attempt is a complete free roll.
Why donât Dems like free rolls?
They arenât trying to employ tactics to win, they are trying to retrofit reality to a world view where Very Important and Very Mature Democrats are the Glue That Holds Society Together. It would be beneath them, in their view, to pull a âcheapâ tactical move, like, passing legislation because they have the power.

Oklahoma is basically an entire state of rural Texas only ten percent worse.
Brain drain is a real problem. Democrats are clustering in cities because of course they are, who the fuck could tolerate living in a rural red state community, which makes the structural hurdles even worse.

The one near me that I believe is closed had no smoking in the poker room which was an open air room with no doors or anything off the main casino floor lol.
ETA: Just realized itâs the summer of 15 years since Iâve had any significant amount of tobacco.
