Have you ever looked in the mirror Manchin. Itā€™s you buddy. You are the one arguing that this bullshit should continue.

Not necessarily true.

There are plenty of places where a dollar goes further. Of course that assumes youā€™re taking a salary from America to live elsewhere. If thatā€™s the case then thatā€™s awesome. There are tons of location independent people I meet in Prague getting a higher salary from another country while living in a cheaper place. Itā€™s a more extreme version of living in Pennsylvania on a NYC salary.

Losing this vote means D controlled committees will do the hearings, which is exactly what you guys want.

Oh boy, hearings.

Democratic-controlled hearings wonā€™t necessarily be the partisan affairs prioritizing hurting Republicans over uncovering the truth that I want.

I worded that poorly. What I meant in relation to your earlier comment is agreeing that the political situations in most of the world is even worse than the US, with the exceptions usually being places that are difficult and/or expensive to emigrate to.

Iā€™m not even sure if I care about whether or not thereā€™s a January 6 commission or hearings or whatever.

Regardless of how they are formed or how bipartisan it is, is there any chance anything tangible comes out of it?

At least weekend at bernieā€™s Feinstein ffs.

I might be coming around.

Iā€™m not sure why every democrat should not be the target of being primaried at this point.

Unfortunately the only thing the dem party is reasonably capable of is rigging primaries to their benefit. The republicans canā€™t manage it nearly as well.

But I am not sure why there is not a movement to get rid of them all at this point.

Sinema didnā€™t even vote? Really?

which republicans voted with the democrats?

Portman
Murkowski
Collins
Sasse
R-Money
Cassidy

(On the D side, Sinema and Murray didnā€™t vote)
