The Presidency of the Joes: more like INFRASTRUCTURE WEAK

At least it would shake things up rather than allowing Rs to continue to march on with their massive structural advantage by simply appealing to old whites. And obvi just do them together to let DC piggyback off the popularity of PR.

Itā€™s certainly not easy, but is there a path forward that doesnā€™t run through somehow getting them on side?

More like 80% of the vote since the senate is so fucking undemocratic.

No, but trust in Joe. Who better to to sway the two with old mediocre white guy named Joe talk and old, longtime Senator that cherishes norms talk?

Huh? I donā€™t think sheā€™s fretting about her lies during the debates and not sure how you thought my comment meant that, I was wondering how she feels about not getting anything in the admin yet.

I mean a politician who was a Reagan republican knows how the game is played and knew what she was doing with her back and forth lies, Iā€™m guessing she might be a little disappointed it didnā€™t pay off how she expected it to, although it is still early, maybe sheā€™ll get something for it. Kamala went right after Biden and she got the VP

Tell AZ lady and Manchin look go along and we will give you whatever you want, plus guarantee you the best post retirement job available. Go against it and we will burn you to the ground.

I really have no idea how to deal with mush brain, even her husband couldnā€™t convince her. Have the entire dem senate sit her down with crayons and a big piece of paper and explain how shits gonna work.

Only think that could possibly make this better would be the Curb music at the end.

Heā€™s not the Senate Majority Leader anymore. Manchin is more powerful now.

I mean thereā€™s a chance the Senate convicts Trump. They are not gonna fight Biden like they did Obama.

Theyā€™ll definitely fight Biden on stuff but itā€™s not gonna be 100% of everything all the time. They argued about Obama wearing tan suits for chrissakes.

The only remotely plausible path I can think of is getting Murkowski to caucus with the Democrats and get on board with filibuster reform. That has to be well below 5% to ever happen.

Something to consider if we ever install a BidenBot

Really needs a randomly chosen one of Bidenā€™s catch phrases instead of just one all the time though.

No malarkey!
Hereā€™s the deal!

Also, guys, heā€™s never getting convicted. Ever. Hoping Republicans will fix Republicans is absolutely hopeless and trying to convince them to do the right thing is the biggest waste of time imaginable.

I would guess her jimmies arenā€™t super rustled.

Does Puerto Rico even want to be a state? Last I checked it was like a 3 way tie between statehood, independence, and status quo.

So if you include independence as an option statehood probably gets a slim plurality?

I read an article that said we can pass DC/PR statehood with 50 votes without nuking the filibuster. Forgot the exact reason but it was like going nuclear on judges. Itā€™s not a normal legislative thing or something. But they can pass it with 50 votes while keeping the legislative filibuster intact.
