STRICT Constitutionalists.
Trump doesn’t care which Mexico people are sent to.

What in the actual fuck, some of my ancestors came here because they ran out of potatoes in their home country. Thinking maybe I need to pack up and move to the Andes or some other potato-rich land.
This is a terrible example. It is not a conflict of interest if your interests are aligned. It’s probably better governance for a mayor to live with the utility system the mayor is responsible for managing.
Lawbros correct me if I misunderstand this, but that in effect says he will testify if compelled before any further ruling.
In a recent case that went to the Supreme Court, they put a hold on the ruling while they deliberated because to not do so would mean their ruling wouldn’t matter. If they said don’t turn over these documents but the documents had already been turned over…
I was responding to the person saying that a politician couldn’t have a bank account. Clearly there are somethings that are ‘ok’ and some that ‘are not.’ Where that exact line is uncertain. In my view, what is clearly across the line is having many family members enriching themselves via board memberships, sketchy lobbying jobs (where the persons boss is as much as bragging about access), in addition to blatant enrichment (like book deals and a hotel franchise).
Meh they were just ignorant and thought HRC had it locked up. We were pretty much all guilty of that
The interview summaries released Monday include Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen, former White House chief of staff John Kelly, former campaign manager Corey Lewandowkski, former adviser Hope Hicks, deputy campaign manager Rick Gates and former political aide Omarosa Manigault.
We also requested all the documents that would reveal the discussions among Attorney General Bill Barr, former deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein, and other high-ranking officials about whether to charge Trump with obstruction.
Some juicy bits:
The same evening Comey was fired, then-Justice Department spokesperson Sarah Flores relayed a message from the White House to Rosenstein. Though the memos do not make clear what that message was, Rosenstein said he told her that the Justice Department “cannot participate in putting out a false story.”
Flores then told Rosenstein that the White House wanted him to participate in a press conference about the firing, but he refused.
