They haven’t vetted shit. That was a lie. Trump said to Mulvaney, ‘I wanna do it at Doral’. Mulvaney said, ‘do it, I agree with you da…Mr. President’. They announced it, adding a fully impeachable offense to his slate of fully impeachable offenses. This doesn’t go away now that it’s gone. These people are so effing dumb and Trump didn’t write that tweet.

This guy is a lawbro, justice and the courts will prevail type, but the thread is a concise explanation of what we should expect next week in regard to Cy Vance’s efforts to obtain the tax info.

Think biblically is the funniest title I’ve ever heard.

Yeah, Maddow had someone on who said the process for vetting potential sites is long and expensive. The mayor of the city where Doral is located had no idea it was being “considered” until it was announced as the site on his Twits account.

You really think this doesn’t go away now? You’re a real glass is half full Dem is half savvy kind of guy.

That guy had very bad analysis of the impeachment timeline/what it would cover, so I wouldn’t put much stock in anything he says.

What glass?

The Trump supporters are the ones with Stockholm Syndrome, but they’re too stupid to realize it.

I mean you’re very optimistic if you think Dems will pursue impeachment for Doral after Trump showed his belly.

He’s a lawyer, not a politician, I wouldn’t have posted it if it wasn’t factually accurate.

Many people have come up to Brandon Straka saying, “Sir, sir…Trump has been the bestest President in the history of Presidents…but sir, why does he get treated so poorly by the media? Does the media hate our country, sir?”

I consider this a significant victory. Trump never admits he is wrong and he can’t ever change the fact he planned to do this. The blood is still on the table.

Although I know the reason he changed was due to protests from republicans and not any desire to do the right thing or recognize how insane it was.

I want a president who knows this is a horrible idea to begin with.

I think it will still be an article of impeachment. The thing wasn’t going to happen for a year anyway. Impeachment will have happened well before G7, so just because it didn’t happen doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be an article. And if they dropped it, and the Senate doesn’t convict, I could see him announcing G7 at Doral right on the back of it. The article will probably pass the JC, and die in the House. That’s fine, because there are plenty of articles to take to the Senate right now that will easily pass the House. The question is how many they want to take. I would have made that article IV as it’s a smoking gun emoluments violation (dumb Donny doesn’t seem to understand that the publicity related to this will be worth more than what anyone pays to stay for this).

The media’s scared the whole Trump phenomenon will die when he’s gone. The problem is that the only way that happens is if he’s not impeached and he doesn’t win re-election. He’s going to be impeached, so that means there will probably be nearly a decade spent on Trump in the news/Congress/court cases for his lackeys if he doesn’t win re-election if he’s not removed in impeachment. The media’s fears of losing ratings are unfounded, because there is so much to go over in the aftermath of a Trump presidency…as long as he loses if he gets to to stay. If he stays and wins, a lot of people will completely stop following this stuff, and I will be one of them.

Yeah, no.

‘But I gave the aid to Ukraine’.

Still an article of impeachment? It’s about intent.

And this is actually worse, because he floated the impeachable offense a month ago. But then actually went through with it until he ‘realized’ he would maybe get convicted over it.
