They’d be more transparent much faster if it was nothing.
At the same time, if something serious did happen it would have leaked by now.
So who knows what to think.
My guess is chest pains or something that required further testing but not surgery. His doctor probably told him to take it easy, but that doesn’t explain the obvious twitter account takeover.

This. Everyone rooting against this forgets that we’re still basically at a coin flip for another 5 years of him as president.

I mean… sure. And the polls against Romney were skewed in 2012… Anyone who thinks Trump is any worse than a coin flip to lose re-election at this point is wrong. maybe he’s a slight dog. But slight. HRC had like a 66 percent chance to win per 538 right before she lost. For a forum filled with former poker players I shouldn’t have to explain this. Trump winning in the first place IMO was a far more unlikely event than President Trump being re-elected as the incumbent presiding over a good economy and no major wars.

Warren, Buttigeg and Sanders are not winning red states. The dem governor in LA signed a fetal heartbeat bill FFS. These people will vote what they percieve as the lesser of two evils trump over a socialist, or an LGBTQ person any day. They’ll probably lesser of two evils over Biden too.
So how long has it been now since drumpf has shown his face in public? Should we be sweating this?
Every 4 years is “This is the year young people will finally turn out!” and then it never is.

Eh, Sondland was Ambassador to EU, not Ukraine. You don’t really need someone important in that role. My understanding is that it’s still the case that the ambassador to like France, or England, or Canada, is whoever donated a lot of money, but the ambassador to Russia or Afghanistan or China is legit.
So are the republicans. Did you forget how many democratic senators in red states lost in 2018? The presidential election is more like the race for senators than the house because of the electoral college.
