See democrats got to stop capitulating as the goal posts will always just be moved.
I am not arguing with what the dems are doing but they should never do anything just because the GOP and Trump complain. They will always move the goalposts.

Haley might win POTUS in 2024. That’s why she’s allin on the trump train.
Graham said if whistleblower doesn’t testify effectively there’s no senate trial (his exact phrase is dead on arrival in the senate)
then if dems cave to that then they’ll demand the onion article of having to stand in an open field.
It’s funny that the dummies keep claiming there is a lot that needs to be done but they only ever mention Drug prices and USMCA while sitting on over 400 bills from the house.
Not possible, imo. Plenty of Trump’s base is never voting for a person of color. Not ever.
WRT the whistleblower, another analogy I heard this morning was something like “If somebody pulls a fire alarm, and everybody comes running and agrees there’s a fire, and then on top of that you catch the arsonist, you don’t really need to know who pulled the alarm.”
what if half the people insist there’s no fire even as the house is burning down?
Even if you have ironclad proof they pulled it as a prank with no knowledge of any actual fire, lol are you really going to tell everyone to ignore the flames and go back to their rooms? Don’t worry, the firemen will sift through the ashes.
Chessmate to my other response :(
Throw them on the fire.
(This is not meant to advocate violence, merely a metaphor indicating they should be publicly and relentlessly mocked and otherwise held accountable for their poor choices.)
LOL, “NO FIRE, NO SMOKE!!” says POTUS right on queue.
turns out the call was actually STRONGER than perfect. well now i’m convinced.
Trump is gonna make these clowns come out and say it was a perfect call isn’t he?
donald trump, definitely not working for the russians who cyberattacked the US government to put him in power, appointed this guy as the head of cybersecurity lol
The point of the WB was to say that something was going on and to give details including names of people involved. Once those people have testified, the events have been verified, and the complaint is corroborated by those involved there’s no reason for the WB to testify in regard to the details of the complaint.
A real value of the WB testifying is to show why he/she felt compelled to report this and all the avenues of how people tried to cover it up. The reason the GOP turds want the WB to testify is to try to get him/her killed. There’s no world whatsoever where the WB testifying in any way helps Trump’s case or the GOP. That testimony might very well stick a fork in the president.
After reading the complaint, my personal assessment is that the WB has a law background, and supervises a significant amount of people. I haven’t read any articles that purport to out the WB, and I’ve always found it suspect that it’s just some every day CIA officer as has been claimed in the generalized stuff I’ve heard about. I’m not really in agreement that there is no value for the WB testifying about the run up to this, but I also don’t want the WB to be living under constant death threats for the rest of his/her life.
If it did turn out the WB was someone of weight/respect/name, then that could go a long way toward a conviction in the Senate. Again, related to the actual complaint, there’s no longer any value for the WB. In regard to the cover up and attempts to bury it before it was released, there absolutely is and that’s what could actually bury Trump. ‘Is this person’s safety worth that?’ is question that has to be asked/answered. Only that person can say for certain whether the risks are worth it. I also do believe the WB wants to testify, but under very particular conditions.
I’m going to shock all of you here, but the point of releasing the other transcript is to distract from the bad one. Vindman made it clear nothing bad happened on the first call. If Trump puts out a second transcript, he’ll say ‘Read the transcript’, point to that one, and ignore the other one. It’s very obvious to me and probably a lot of other people, but this is absolutely going to fool a lot of the people in the derposphere who will only pay attention to the first call’s transcript and ignore the actually, you know, important one.
One other thing I’d like to note (while I don’t think it’s likely) is that it’s possible the WB (to distract, while getting it on the record) has already testified in one of the depositions and it could be embarrassing that such a gambit has been used if it turns out that’s the case.
