It pisses me off that stupid people have money. This clown gave Trump $1 Million for access. He might as well lit it on fire. Hopefully he gets got and enjoys prison for perjury but he’s a white dude with money so I’m guessing he’ll get a stern letter asking him not to do it again.

He’s already ‘corrected’ his testimony, so it’s pretty unlikely they get him for perjury. I’m not sure he’s actually committed any crimes.
Volker clearly committed perjury (in addition to a ton of lies by omission), and he hasn’t corrected anything. The only damage that will probably happen to him, even with that said, is with his professional reputation and he seems to feel he didn’t do anything wrong.

Can we extract the Gates discussion? Paradoxically, this thread deserves better than that discussion, and that discussion deserves better than to be buried in this thread.
Maybe we start with Clovis writing an OP arguing that that Gate’s treatment here is unfair and his large giveaways make him immune to criticism (which appears to be your argument?) and we can go from there.

I’m with you on this one. Of all the billionaires to go after, Gates is a huge reach.
Go after the guys who made their money in oil or coal that are actively destroying the planet and negatively impacting our political system.
