The Presidency of Donald J. Trump v5.0: ORANGE Gettin' PEACHed, Nation Goes PEANUT BUTTER & BANANAS

Melinda is 55 so the odds are pretty good the Gates Foundation is still around in 50 or 60 years, and it’s already sitting on $50 billion in assets, why not add another $100 billion to its pile?

I absolutely believe what I am saying because I have some familiarity with Gate’s business history, which fits perfectly with him flipping his shit at Warren. For example, he forced Paul Allen, his best friend in high school, out of Microsoft because he wasn’t as much of a workaholic as Gates and then shit really hit the fan when Allen had the nerve to get non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1982, at which time Gates promptly ousted him.

Gates did a great job rehabilitating his image, but I suspected he has always been the same guy deep down and he just found a productive way to channel his ambitions through the Gates Foundation, which was fortunate for society. Unfortunately for him, he just let the mask slip for all to see with his Trump/Warren comment.

It’s also a clear indication we could be taxing him 19 billion dollars a year and he wouldn’t notice.

That’s all abstract.

Specifically how should he, Bill Gares not “billionaires”, give his money away to satisfy everyone?

The sick thing is that if you gave a lot of us $500M we’d probably give $400M+ away to charity pretty much immediately and live a still lavish lifestyle with our remaining 8-9 figure net worth.

Immediately give away like 99%+ of his wealth to people who need it more than him. It doesn’t even need to be charities. Like dude could log into gofundme right now and pay off literally every person who is struggling for medical care, probably with the profits he’s made over the last 72 hours. Every day he chooses not to do so.

This isn’t hard.

Lol. That’s the point. Neither do you. Yet somehow he is still just so obviously evil.

I think I’d be okay with a hoard tax. Who cares if their money grows if they don’t spend it and stimulate the economy?

Lol, help change the political system of the most powerful nation on Earth for the better through means at his disposal is abstract?

Btw, what is your abstract point again? That we shouldn’t be calling Gates a sociopath even though you concede he is one and is engaging in sociopathic behavior at this very moment because it is bad politics?

I don’t think Trump writes most of his tweets, but I believe he wrote this one.

Stealing this :+1:

Out of curiosity, when you say ‘a lot of us’, what sort of percentage are you imagining.

So I see like 60+ new posts ITT on a day two very important transcripts are dropping and then see everyone is arguing about Bill Gates. I guess we have to pass the time somehow.

Bill Gates is rich.

Here is a hint Clovis, since you seem frankly pretty determined not to get the point as is your MO.

We are not attacking Gates because of his charitable donations, of course those are better than buying a 10th jet or whatever. We are attacking him using those donations as a shield to prevent systemic change that would threaten the only thing he cares about, his sociopathic desires.

He won’t satisfy everyone obviously but he should just keep quiet and stop pontificating on why life isn’t fair if he isn’t going to spend any of it on trying to make life fairer.

I don’t know. 30%?

I certainly would, or at least I hope I would. I guess you can never really KNOW.

First MBA/businessdude president: Dubya

First “billionaire” president: Trump

But absolutely let us keep trying, surely one of these pillars of society will work out

Yeah, no one knows. I was just curious about what your guess was.

He literally spends all his time now trying to make the world better. All of it. It’s his full time job.

This discussion is just not moored to reality. I am going to duck out of it.

2000 hours a year and he can’t figure out how to give away more money than he makes. Man. Maybe he needs an assistant or something.
