The link to Marie Yovanovitch’s full deposition is broken. Has anyone found a good one?

I’m looking for a version of her transcript that I can download the PDF of, do you know where I can get that?

Lawyers, how do NDAs effect third parties? Ie what liability does publisher have if author violated an NDA?

Plus at this point even people who support trump might not understand it and think it is funny to boo.

We shall see. This is an absurd strategy but whatever. He had went to like one sporting event in 3 years now 3 in two weeks?

Trump looks like he almost fell over. Whatever fat brace he’s wearing must be heavy.

IANAL, but Trump threatens employees with this NDA stuff all the time and he’s never once been successful. Nuisance lawsuits and bluster are his stock and trade.

If you mean like Trump has an NDA with person X with liquidated damages of $10m, and some publisher pays person X $15m to breach the NDA and write a tell all, the publisher would have no liability. They never agreed to anything and received no consideration for person X’s promise to not disclose Trump’s piss fetish.

Isn’t inducing someone to breach a contract a civil tort? Of course I think the contract itself has to be legit, but still.

He just really wanted that handshake. I’d have leaned in, too

Trump is literally suing his own accounting firm to prevent them from complying with a congressional subpoena

HIS OWN ACCOUNTING FIRM

Marie Yovanovitch, the ousted U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, told House Impeachment investigators last month that U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland told her she should tweet out support or praise for President Donald Trump if she wanted to save her job, according to a transcript of her testimony made public Monday

LOL wow

Maybe. I vaguely remember something about tortious interference from law school but don’t really recall the elements. I think Simp does a lot of civil law maybe he can chime in.

If you are gonna go to WH “for the historic experience” then going and snubbing Drumpf’s handshake is the way to do it.

If you shake hands with him, then you are complicit and ok with a president subverting national security interests for his own personal gain.

Honestly I think this is way more of a power move than not going and takes much bigger balls. Like thats a high pressure moment. You aren’t just completely snubbing the president, you’re also snubbing one of the most powerful people in the country who is also one of the most petty vindictive people in world history and has a literally insane, mentally ill fanbase willing to cause harm for him.

It isn’t even remotely out of the realm of possibility that Trump tries to sick the IRS on you or the DOJ to come after you, or one of his fans tries to fucking shoot you.

Also getting death threats for years is an absolute lock.

Mad fucking respect.
