Then there must be a way to leverage that kind of blind obedience and weakness. Maybe the Dems should sidle up to Trump and make him a deal to enthusiastically get behind building the wall in exchange for announcing he’s pro choice or something. Not to actually build the wall, but to fracture the party beyond repair. That one person is also ridiculously incompetent. That said, based on firsthand experience, Michael Baden is no joke and no hack. If he says the injuries are more consistent with homicide than suicide then I’m inclined to believe him.

For them they feel that he has hijacked their hardcore base. On top of that he is the only one in the party able to raise money. They feel trapped.
They created him, so hopefully he destroys them all. Most of them want to stay in congress and wield power. Speaking out risks that in their mind. That is why you see two modes, resign or capitulate.
I don’t get how they can sell themselves out either but they are not made of strong morals and ethics.

I saw that thing from the spectator. I consider the source suspect, but it’s certainly worth monitoring. The evidence, I think, was rumors about phone calls, which is dicy at best.
