An example of how stupid Trump is. He has no theory of mind; the thing most people develop when they are about 3 years old. Trump is thin skinned and insecure and he knows he’d want a supplicant to be thanking him profusely if he were in Putin’s position, so he can’t imagine that Putin might want Trump to play it like he’s not bent over when he’s on camera.
Or maybe that is what Putin wants and it’s more about people in Russia seeing Trump act like that.

Equivalent to the people who were supporting him no matter what. They’ll get off on this, but he could have yelled MORE BROWN PEOPLE ARE COMING and those same supporters would have gotten their next fix. I just don’t think the effect will be significant enough to notice, just easier to lay blame at.

A reporter from a network he praised (not sure which) asked if this was tied to his withdrawal from Syria. He said no, though he said the two pieces of intel came to him around the same time. Bigly missed opportunity for him. Doesn’t matter if the two had anything to do with each other, it would have quickly morphed into a conspiracy theory with legs. Any information that contradicted him would have fed the suspicion that someone is suppressing the truth.
That photo op is so narcissist it’s hilarious. You got these very angry white dudes looking at the camera like they are tuff guys. Meanwhile, the Obama picture shows everyone in the room you know, watching the actual raid going on.

I play more golf than most people (about once a week except when it snows here) and I’ve never shat on a President for wanting to play, but god damn how difficult is it to give up an afternoon round to actually watch the raid in real time. From a strict curiosity standpoint why the hell wouldn’t you want to watch to see what happens. The dude is clearly a sociopath/narcissist to the nth degree who doesn’t give a fuck if it doesn’t involve him directly. I know I shouldn’t be but I’m continually befuddled by that and people who support him thinking it’s a good trait he has.
