The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Unconstitutional Slop

Among Republicans, 65 percent of those who are worried about infections rate Trump positively for handling the outbreak, compared with 95 percent of Republicans less worried about an infection.

95% approval among shortsighted morons! Thank you!

Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper effectively banned the display of the Confederate battle flag on U.S. military installations on Friday, saying in a memo that the ā€œflags we fly must accord with the military imperatives of good order and discipline, treating all our people with dignity and respect, and rejecting divisive symbols.ā€

The memo does not explicitly mention Confederate banners, but states that the American flag is the ā€œprincipal flag we are authorized and encouraged to display.ā€

ā€œFlags are powerful symbols, particularly in the military community for whom flags embody common mission, common histories, and the special, timeless bond of warriors,ā€ Esper wrote in his memo, obtained by The Washington Post. ā€œAs Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, a veteran of the Second World War, once wrote about the United States flag: 'It is a symbol of freedom, of equal opportunity, of religious tolerance, and of good will for other peoples who share our aspirations.ā€

So why is Erik Prince trending- something to do with the Portland incidents?

And lol Kellyanne thinking that Trump NOT doing briefings is why his numbers are down so much. Itā€™s because as cases and deaths go up the guy supposedly in charge is going to get the blame. Especially when he actively ignores or directly countermands the medical/epidemiology advice.

That is some serious fucking bullshit.

Fuck the ā€œpolice.ā€

So heā€™s diverting campaign funds into false transactions for catering and facility rental, rather than TV ads? Looks like someone knows they are going to lose an election. Iā€™ll chalk it up to an acceptable cost of doing business.

His supporters will use the fact that this is such a small amount of money to a billionaire as evidence that heā€™s not grifting.

The Stasi has come to America and no one is doing a goddamned thing about it

We would not have Portland as a pick for this place of stuff - always Portlandia like. An I canā€™t see how this is helping out for the Election in Nov, unless things are way different that what they are in Oregon - or I am way off here>

In a way, a place like Portland makes perfect sense. They hate Trump anyway.

Do it in a red area, and people might actually be converted from Trumpkins to non-Trumpkins.

Trump wins Oregon if Portland canā€™t vote.
