I can tell you from personal experience that working local tv news on election night was a real exercise in anxiety. Youāre so dependent on software that is basically never used, and is often newly created. Itās got to be integrated with tv graphics and youāre always worried about a crash. Iām so glad Iām done with it.

Iām 100% taking at least the Wed-Fri after Election Day off if not the entire week.
This. While mail in voting is fantastic and an absolute necessity, the one downside is the post election wait for results. It will be extremely ugly if there is a Trump lead from in person voting then Biden pulls ahead once the mail in ballots are counted. Probably a big reason why trump is pushing his āmail is fraudā bullshit so much. Heād have half the country convinced the dems cheated if it plays out like this.

Several I would think. FL will definitely be worse than 2012 when we didnāt get results til the next day because they werenāt sure whether or not they were gonna have to rig it for Romney, turned out it didnāt matter anyway so they went ahead and gave it to the rightful winner Obama.
