On a question related to testing, he said âWeâll be making an announcement.â He didnât say what it would be, or when it would happen. He wasnât asked. I guess everyone knew it was a lie, so why bother.

I want to vote in person this year.
I have to vote in person in South Carolina as the dipshits in charge only allow absentee voting with a âreason,â and COVID doesnât count. Good job suppressing your own vote with a critical senate race.

Grunching. Donât know if people have watched the full Axios interview but when I watch these things I watch imagining what my father or my buddyâs father would think.
I donât get the hype. He gets smoked in two short sections, mostly over pandemic stuff. Other than that he sounds significantly more coherent than usual and IMO dominates the interview. He bulldozes questions with bullshit and pivots to his talking points with great effectiveness, he controls the frame of each topic really well.
He came off as stronger than he has in months, and gave off a strongman only I can save you vibe that will play well with many voters. He did a good job of shifting frames to his preferred narrative and context.
Itâs a big if, but if he does this well in communicating from now until November, he wins. If he does this well in a debate with Biden heâs going to mop the floor with Biden in the debate.
Like yeah heâll be full of shit obviously and his ideas are stupid, heâll lose on the merits and facts, but heâll win on image and narrative.
I think too many people watch these things without considering the perspective of the voters who matter, who are white suburban men who lean Republican.
Iâm sure this wonât be a popular take, but Iâm telling you when my dad or my friends dad watch something like this, they will like what they see.
Also the interviewer missed like three easy kill shots. It was disappointing relative to the hype.
