We should go back to having the ceremonial first be thrown from the stands like it was originally done. These politicos always wind up embarrassing themselves. Except W, I guess, he had an okay pitch.
Did we watch the same video? I’m not even sure this stuff really matters but I’m having a hard time imagining someone with a worse first pitch.
I don’t remember Obama’s actual throw being that bad but the form was indicative of someone who never played.

Without looking, W certainly played baseball.
Bringing your arm like a hammer being cocked on a gun and propelling forward is a dead giveaway you’ve never played ball.
I guess I will watch it again but no that probably doesn’t even make my top 100 worst first pitches.
I used to go to an absurd amount of baseball games so I have seen a lot of first pitches. But even from the standpoint of wildly publicized ones it’s not that bad.
There is a first pitch before every single major league game. I suspect a huge percentage don’t make it as far as the plate in the air. I consider that much worse than being able to throw it that far in the air but missing wildly to the side.
Of course a centrist is praising W.

Okay i rewatched it and it did fall short and wide but I am going to stick by my guns it outdistances most first pitches.
I am certainly not even a little concerned Trump will do better.

God I hated how well W did with that first pitch. He was absolutely perfect at shit like that.

Pitch was fine. He played it safe. The shoe dodging absolutely was kick-ass though.
