I am not getting my hopes up but the polling is extreme and as we see with Trump’s new Covid press conferences he is doing nothing to change the tide. We are back over a thousand deaths every day and I would be really surprised if that changes before the election.
We are talking 100k-150k more deaths on the low end before the election. We are talking all time eviction rates (thanks inso’s boss).
No kind of scandal got you dirt is going to counteract the devastation, fear and uncertainty people will be living with for the better part of a year.
Those shenanigans only hold sway when everything is relatively normal and there is not heaps of bad news on everyone’s doorstep.
Again, though, I am not taking it for granted, I don’t care if the polls hit +30.
I fully expect the media to fall for whatever bullshit Barr & Co. come up with, but I am skeptical it will have a meaningful effect as the walls are crashing in.

Fauci’s pitch wasn’t that bad relatively speaking. Had distance, just wicked curve.
I can’t imagine trump comes anywhere close to getting it the same distance without attacking the ground first.
I’m assuming they’re committed trump voters rather than undecideds. So I think less of them than someone who thinks the opposite.
