You guys are right. Whether or not I’d find it offensive would depend on context, but I’m also kind of identifying as a Jewish Person by using my Jewish Person-privilege to say “Jew”.

Whenever I encountered the phrase “deep state” by some derp on facebook, I started substituting “deep state” with “the jews.”

Then I learned that most of the time it holds up and that’s the intended meaning behind a lot of those words, like deep state or NWO or any of that garbage.

Probably not news to anyone else but I am always surprised at anti semitism and how virulent and common it is.

If/when I refer to myself as a Jew, it is always a sideways reference to the word as a pejorative. Like, “Well, I’m a Jew, so what do you expect?” Like I would never say “I’m a Jew” if someone asked me what religion I am.

Actually I was told by a Jewish woman that it was not really acceptable for gentiles to call Jewish people “Jews.” You’re supposed to say “Jewish people.” She said most of the time you won’t get corrected but that it is somewhat cringe-inducing.
