Feeling WAAF today. It was obvious what Trump was and he won an election when he had no power. His odds are pretty good as the most powerful person in the world. The timing of the post office stuff is pretty much perfect. Damage has been done and will continue to be done, but it will be old news and people won’t pay attention to it.

I don’t know why this surprised me but of course he’d tweet some projection–people killed because of total incompetence was something I thought he might avoid as a topic to bring up, especially one the dems had on him that they didn’t discuss whatsoever, but silly me lol.

He announced his retirement from The Daily Show a few months before Trump announced his run and left the show like a month after the announcement, when Trump was still a punch line.

I completely disagree with this. I think it turns into a three way race, something like 40-35-25 in national polling Biden-HRC-Bernie. Bernie loses the voters he was getting that were just anti-HRC and pissed at having a coronation forced upon us. I think Biden prevails in a drawn out battle, and then beats Trump by like 5 million votes in the popular vote and wins around 280 electoral votes.
I’m not sure what this does to the GOP or who’s running now, but I highly doubt Trump runs again in the 2020 primary. 2020 would be like Don Jr, Kasich, Cruz, Haley, Pence, DeSantis, Cotton, Hawley, Pompeo, Rubio. I think you end up getting someone like Cotton, Cruz or Hawley.
Assuming Biden handled the pandemic competently, I think he wins re-election.
