The media will absolutely love another Trump term, imagine how boring a Biden presidency will be
And supporters will praise the strippage as free market magic
On the flip side, a Biden presidency will allow them to cover the first ex-president to go absolutely batshit crazy. And that’s after they get to cover the not so peaceful transfer of power.
I mean…how was this not unanimous? What is the defense for voting no on this? How is the fucking worthless press not CONSTANTLY in their faces about this no vote??? jesus fucking christ
The GOP is about staying in power. Nothing else matters.
Guys… don’t look now but the bottom is about to fall out of the real economy and coronavirus death totals are about to explode. Stop asking yourselves if Trump can pull this out as though the slope of the line on every important graph isn’t getting steeper. He’s not going to pull this out. The question is knowing that what follows from that? I think that’s a much harder question. We’re in a very weird spot.
No I mean I get that. What I’m asking is how are the Republicans not named Trump not being raked over the fucking coals by the press over this vote? There’s literally no way to defend it.
Donald Trump does something crazy every two hours lol. The media has straight up not covered thousands of what would be very big stories in normal times since late 2016. Trump consumes all the oxygen in the room at all times.
I’m enjoying the dark humor of this post… But thank Christ you’re wrong.
they’re not gonna explode, any vaccine trump tells them to take is fine, the others are the problem
It only got out or committee because Susan Collins voted for it.
No votes included…Ben Sasse. Remember that the next time he parades around as the voice of principled conservatism.
well principled conservatism is not taking any sort of stand against anything bad so…
“Covid changed everything” for years and years and years.
Grunching a bit but I would happily bet there is no widely available (ie anyone who wants one can get one instantly) vaccine by the election.
agreed, there might be an approved vaccine by then, but it won’t be adminstered to americans by then.
Isnt the oxford the one that we aren’t getting rights to because our pharm companies wouldn’t agree to something or was that a different one?
Also if these studies that say antibodies last 8 weeks are true isn’t the effectiveness of a vaccine very low? I don’t understand the science so if I have that wrong please let me know.
Hopefully the can develop a vaccine that does a better job.
