Biden doing a pretty good speech on COVID-19 response. I hope it gets a lot of play tonight on cable news. An intelligent approach to the crisis will assure that Trump will continue to take the most destructive path toward beating it. He won’t be able to stand to be in agreement with Biden on anything.

Right. They’re mad Trump isn’t getting his way. Previous polls showed also bad numbers but were juxtaposed next to persistent approval of Trump.

“Not happy with the direction of the country” means they don’t like the BLM movement gaining traction. They don’t like racist people/monuments/names being attacked. They don’t like Biden polling ahead of Trump.
It most certainly doesn’t mean they’ll not vote for Trump.

Fwiw that story seems to confirm that the part about it being for bounties comes from interrogations carried out by Afghan government forces. It seems to have become common for the US and others to prefer outsourcing that sort of thing so that more direct methods can be used.
That they were talking was ‘known’ for a while, that it involved money I think is just self evident. Before now the reasons were usually thought to be trying to contain ISIS influence and trying to position Russia for what comes next there.

If this is true (and I believe it is) that poll is actually bad news for Dems because it means the Trumpkins will turn out in force in November instead of sitting out the election.
