That sucks. I had a chemE from India that got caught in some kind of review. Not specific to him, everyone in his class or group was flagged. Took over 6 weeks to come back from a family wedding.
Then his wife’s company offered to transfer her to Toronto and they snap took it. Dunzo with the US system. They had permanent resident status within months.
