I have some mixed feelings about boycotts as tools of political protest, but comparing politicians (especially Muslim ones) who support BDS as equivalent to people smuggling âmore conventional weaponsâ should be so fucking out of bounds for a US AmbassadorâŚ
Shouldnât be surprised, still am.
Imagine how much of his support would evaporate if they had to read every deranged tweet. Obviously thereâs a big chunk that are sitting there thinking âFuck yeah, another Diamond & Silk plug!â but plenty of the people who held their noses in 2016 would be shocked if they ever bothered to read the tweets.
Itâs one of the reasons I think the bot is so important, weâre forced to see every dumb thought he decides to just toss out there.

On the contrary, I think his supporters read his tweets and love it. Even his more intelligent ones love the jabs and bashing of their opponents, and can overlook his stupidity as long as they think it doesnât affect them personally.
Why a Trump recession would be so devastating for him, even more so than usual for a politician. So many soft right leaning people were worried that his stupidity would fuck shit up, and have slowly moved over to his side as they havenât seen any personal consequences from his actions.
