Why canât they (1) arrest him and then (2) let all of the scenarios play out as youâve illustrated? Like imagine I have a crystal ball and can see that Rudy ultimately gets got. That doesnât change my opinion on whether he should be jailed now. Iâm in favor of him being jailed for the maximum number of days of his lifetime that the law will allow.

As many have noted, how would his behavior be different if he werenât a Russian asset? I mean, he probably isnât, but, other than its baseline implausibility, itâd certainly be the most plausible explanation for his behavior if he were a normal functional adult of average intelligence, which he isnât.
