âUnlikely but possibleâ is a completely irresponsible journalistic standard. There are plenty of unlikely but possible stories, but guess what Chait focused on: the story that fed directly into #resistance fantasies and would get him the most clicks.
âWith all due respect to Trump, who I love, heâs killing us in urban, suburban districts,â Bonnen said.
Bonnen also used crude language while discussing freshmen Democrats whose midterm victories in 2018 weakened the GOPâs House majority.
âJon Rosenthal makes my skin crawl. Heâs a piece of (expletive),â Bonnen said in the recording.
Mentioning another Democrat, Bonnen adds, âWeâve got Michelle Beckley, whoâs vile. But we got people who beat our Republicans that are not even trying to act like moderate Democrats, OK? Which is good for us. Because we ought to be able to take their heads off. But I need you firing harder that way.â
Iâd put it this way. That the dumbest, least informed politician in human history behaves optimally with respect to furthering Russian interests shifts the burden of proof to those who think he is not an asset. He could be a useful idiot but even idiots deviate from time to time, this guy is on point with every Kremlin propaganda talking point ever floated, down to getting into it with Theresa May over whether the Skripals were actually poisoned by Russians.
âOnce you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.â
Impossible = stable genius is a stable genius, has a well formed geopolitical view that accounts for taking Russiaâs side in every circumstance
so is it bad Iâm rooting for Trump to finish the job killing them off?
I laugh at all the republicans in CA who are moving to TexasâŚthey are in for a hell of a shock when they realize that âTexas republicanâ and âCalifornia republicanâ are shockingly different things.
