Say what you will, but I think JT would agree with me that he’s a huge pessimist, especially in regard to what’s going on/not going on in this country. I’m not dissing JT at all with what I said.
I laid it out that if JT is going ‘This’ to a cuse post, then it’s very likely it’s the most pessimistic take available on whatever the matter may be.
I think if House Dems tried to impeach and actually did their jobs well, then there would be a decent chance of trump resigning, and he would lose an election for sure. But it’s House Dems, so they’d stumble their way through the whole thing, probably wouldn’t even get a hold of trumps tax returns. So I’m honestly not sure what the best course of action would be.
As much as I love to rip on this moron for being such a goddamn moron, this is a pretty impressive example of how effective he is at changing what the fuck is even being talked about. Nobody was giving him shit and saying that Alabama wasn’t forecast to be hit, it was specifically about him being completely irresponsible and warning that Alabama “will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated”.
Although really Fox News is doing the heavy lifting here on changing the topic from him being a dumbass to “early reports did say Alabama would be hit”.
Impeach don’t impeach donnie will claim vindication. So if the dems are not impeaching because it will make them look bad when the senate does not go along. That is a bad strategy.
He conveniently left out the percentages of ‘wind’ (OMG 5 percent chance 39 MPH+ WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE MOBILE HOMES?) of certain types hitting Alabama. Five percent in his ‘cone of certainty’, and 10 percent at the highest.
This is possibly the single dumbest story he’s contributed to in his time as president. Like literally no one cared until he continuously tried to lie about it. And I mean sure, the hurricane’s happening RIGHT NOW, so let’s talk about places that had zero impact from it rather than places that it’s impacting right now in devastating ways.
What he’s really conveniently leaving out is he made his dire warning to Alabama at 11 a.m. on September 1, a day and a half after the estimates of Alabama getting even minorly hit.
Oh shit, I didn’t even think about giving him credit for focusing attention on his Alabama nonsense to distract from him stealing hurricane resources for his wall. He’s a sneaky fucker for sure.
You have the most openly currupt, most transparent person ever to hold public office anywhere In the world who has repeatedly told you all what his red line is and no one wants to do it. NOONE.
Getting Trump to resign is the easiest thing in the world of politics the now.
I’m not so sure. It’s clear that being a TV celebrity in the 21st century gives you power; I think our whole culture needs to have a think about how corrosive it is when the entertainment industry decides to elevate these horrible people like Trump just because they’re silly to watch on TV. Like maybe we as a society need to take the megaphone away from celebrities like Kanye when they start saying toxic shit.
