We only notice when the misspellings are wrong, really…
It shows who you responded to and anyone can click that to open that post. But…
The easiest way to make it show inside your reply is to just highlight what you want to quote and then click the “Quote” thing that appears. Or you can hit reply and then the word bubble looking icon.
Cool thing is you can start a reply…
then go back and grab that quote by highlighting it…
or any other quote in the thread…
or hell, I can open another thread and grab a quote from it.

Senior aides in Donald Trump’s entourage have accused the G7 host and French president, Emmanuel Macron, of seeking to embarrass his US counterpart by making the summit focus on “niche issues” such as climate change, according to multiple US media reports.
Macron’s plan to heal divisions among G7 leaders in Biarritz this weekend apparently did not factor in the need to keep Trump’s aides happy too, a group that began briefing against him within hours of Trump’s arrival.
The spark for the fuse appeared to be lunch. Macron whisked the US president away for an impromptu meal for two on an oceanfront terrace at the Hotel du Palais. Trump initially appeared frosty but later called it “the best meeting we have yet had”.
Pretty smart of “marcone” to whisk trump away from his aides so he can schmooze him properly and get in his head first. Once trump makes up his mind it cant be changed.
He’s seriously so easy to manipulate and it is so humiliating to me as an american person to watch him in these global summits

This is really one of the top ten GOAT photos of the Trump administration. I fucking love that these two have like ~$40 in their hands and they’re mugging for the camera like Cruella DeVille and her James Bond mega-villain husband. It’s like when I graduated college and found a legit entry-level job and rolled past the Taco Bell like “Excuse me, plebeians, I’m on my way to Chipotle to buy a burrito with extra guac and chips like a real baller.” I’m supposed to hate these two because they are truly afwul people but they’re just so adorablly inept that I can’t even.

Fwiw I’m pretty sure the smugness is because his name is on those bills. That’s a big deal to “live forever” to these narcissistic clowns.
I think tweets like those prove that he has truly become the leader of a cult. Even the Most economically illiterate people must experience some cognitive dissonance when he posts stuff like „Economy is the best ever“ and „FED is very bad for our economy.
On top of that he has destroyed Republican orthodoxy on trade policy with his neomercantilist bs and nooene even blinked an eye.
