Man, if there is any fucking justice at all, like one tiny fucking bit, he will get knocked on his ass by the next wave of symptoms. I truly had no idea I was capable of hating another person this much.

I donāt think this ploy is going to work. That should be what we all hang on to in these dark times. Will it work on Trump cult members? Of course. But I donāt see how Trump getting Covid, exposing tons of people to it and then continuing to downplay it after a few days of high end treatment plays well at all.
Covid isnāt over and wonāt be for a while. Anyone with a brain wants some kind of a solution to it that isnāt DONāT BE SCARED OF IT YOU GIANT PUSSIES AND GET YOUR ASS TO CHILIS FOR AN AWESOME BLOSSOM.
This is the most disruptive event in any of our lives to date and Trump continuing to say it is overblown does not change that.

Given the song and dance from Dr. Bullshit Spin Guy, and Trump selectively waving HIPAA, he almost certainly was in worse shape than they let on. Especially with the experimental treatments.
I think heās either a week deeper on the timeline than publicly disclosed and is mostly through the worst of it, or heās in the lull phase and time will tell.
The doctor has also corrected himself on the blood oxygen levels and administration of O2 daily.
I wish a reporter read off his statements on the use of O2 each day and asked, āWhy should we believe you today?ā

I pretty much did not read any of the posting this weekend. Part of it was that my sister and BIL were in town. Part of it was that nothing good ever happens in this timeline. Of course the end result of Trump getting Covid was always going to be doubling down on how it is a hoax and ultimately causing more suffering.

One of my friends I sort of hmmm about is reacting to this by going from yelling at people to wear masks to sharing videos where medical experts declare masks do nothing to stop the spread of virus. Fuck.
People process crazy shit in weird ways, and the presidentās behavior right now is INSANE. A couple of us have been in a spot a time or two where we were like wtf? Am I wrong about everything?!
