They still need an income.
My theory on these cops and $70k truck Trump-train guys is that they’re going to roar like tigers - but if their cushy source of income is ever threatened they’ll turn into little kittens - and insta-switch to “Can we all just be friends now?”
Unlike some of these militia guys on the fringe of society - the cops and boat parade/Trump-train guys actually have a lot to lose. I’d give anything for a typical cop pension right now.

Exactly. And if it gets the bad cops out, that’s a good thing.
Same with Trump. He’ll bitch and moan but ultimately he’s a complete coward who just wants to avoid jail and so he’ll just skulk on Twitter at marelago while letting his mentally ill fans shoot up crowds/drive cars into crowds because he doesn’t give a fuck about anyone but himself.
