To be clear, I was not clamoring for a Joe Biden thread. I just find it concerning how little real interest there is in the Democratic nominee who is tasked with winning the most pivotal election of our lifetimes, in which nothing less than preservation of our American democracy is at stake.

Biden is a known entity. He was VP for 8 years.
I dunno, this strategy seems to be paying off for him with a polling surge. Maybe Dems should consider it.
It would have been nice to have a more charismatic candidate. No doubt. I think his nomination was the product of a splintered field of mostly moderate dems. That allowed Bernie to take the lead. The moderate wing panicked and mobilized behind Biden. Iâm hoping that through Cabinet appointments or something that someone may emerge as a stronger candidate for 2024, because I just donât see Biden running for a second term.

I dont think Donnie Dumb Dumb views the world in a way that would allow him to try to broaden support. In his mind, youâre either undyingly loyal to him and his ego, or you are subhuman garbage to be dismissed forever.

Everything about him that matters fits into the primary and general election threads. The only reason to have a separate Biden thread this year would be to contain over-zealous Biden stans, so I would be more concerned if we had a Biden thread.
